I can’t stand Palin’s rhetorical stupidity, but if I were a comedian, I’d take a look at Palin’s views compared to those of the feminist movement. Usually Jon’s right on the money for me, but isn’t it funnier that after being corrected about factual errors in her speech at CSU Stanislaus, Palin quoted Gloria frickin’ Steinem. If Palin self-identifies as a feminist, she should explain why.

What part of the feminist movement, exactly, does she belong to? What part of the ideology does she subscribe to? And, moreover, what is she contributing to any dialogue that qualifies her as a leader in, well, anything?

I met a couple of people while I was on vacation with my folks who were big Sarah Palin fans. I still can’t understand why. I’d vote for Basil Marceaux before I voted for Sarah Palin. At least Marceaux is an impotent kind of stupid.
